How to set up SMTP to send notifications ?

This setting provides a link between the technical station's messaging system and Agoserve.


From the ‘Settings’ module, then "Setting up smtp mail" : 


To configure SMTP :


The technical station must enter the email address (from which it wants the notifications to be sent) and the password associated with its email address.


It is possible to change the email address that will be displayed in the inbox of the person receiving the email :


=>Please note: the password must be changed in Agora as soon as the technical station's email password has been changed.


The technical station will be asked for an SMTP port, which varies depending on the operator/mail provider.


For example : the Gmail port is often 25.


SSL ACTIVE : These are the SMTP security parameters.


=> To check whether it should be activated or not, and to find out which port to use, please contact your e-mail operator.



When you have completed the settings, save them and click on "Send test message" to check that the settings are correct :
